Compliance with all labour laws in line with your strategic focus.


Process:


This offering is designed for the SME.
It would be on a retainer basis that factors in the cost of legally compliant contracts, HR policies and procedures, membership of an Employer’s Organisation, chairing of disciplinary hearings, representation at the CCMA, etc.



COMPLIANCE RETAINER



The Retainer would include the following:


  1. A.SET OF UP-TO-DATE LEGALLY COMPLIANT HR DOCUMENTATION


  1. 1.Employment Contracts

  2. Directors Contracts (incl. King 3)

  3. Permanent Contracts

  4. Temporary Contracts


  1. 2.Policies and Procedures

       (those that detail the company's minimum required statutory commitments + give protection against lawsuits):


  1. a.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT 

  2. Working Hours, Attendance and Absence

  3. Leave (Annual, Sick, Maternity etc.)

  4. Remuneration (Deductions etc.)

  5. Termination of Employment


  1. b.WORKPLACE RELATIONS 

  2. Code of Conduct

  3. Unfair discrimination / harassment / sexual harassment Policy and Procedure

  4. HIV / AIDS Policy

  5. Complaint / Grievance Procedure

  6. Poor Performance Policy and Procedure

  7. Incapacity Policy and Procedure


  1. c.OTHER POLICIES

  2. Electronic Communications and Personal Computers Policy


Additional areas can be covered as per client needs: Travel and Entertainment Policy, Green Policy etc.


  1. B.MEMBERSHIP OF A DESIGNATED EMPLOYER'S ORGANISATION


  1. Membership of this employers’ organisation allows us to represent you at CCMA.




  1. C.1 - 6 HOURS OF OUR BILLABLE TIME PER MONTH


Amount of hours depends on size of company.


  1. 1.Advice on HR Matters (telephonic or in person);

  2. 2.Guiding the process for implementing the new HR policies and procedures;

  3. 3.Scanning legal environment and giving "heads-up" on new legislation;

  4. 4.Updating of Policies and Procedures accordingly;

  5. 5.Chairing Hearings / Grievance Meetings / Incapacity Investigations etc.;

  6. 6.Representation at CCMA;

  7. 7.Notification of and assistance with annual submissions: Workman's Comp & Skills Devt.

  8. 8.Optional Recruitment function can be included: 

  9. We'd identify key competencies needed for a job,

  10. Draft an advert,

  11. Place the advert,

  12. Process applications and short-list the best candidates for interview,

  13. Draft the interview questions to be followed, and

  14. Advise on legalities in the selection process.
